Stephanimals are original Canadian made, hand-crafted stuffed animals, blankets and children’s clothing. Every item is unique like nature. Included with each purchase is a soft, colourful, hand-made story book. It is designed to educate children, and adults alike, about that particular animal, it’s habitat, and ways in which we can help protect their environment, as well as our own. From every item sold, $2 CAD will be donated to a local non-profit animal or environmental organization. This year, all donations will be made to the Western Canada Wilderness Committee.

The concept of Stephanimals originated when founder, Stephanie McPherson, began sewing toys and clothing for her nieces and nephews. Through this process, she rediscovered her inner child and her fondness for stuffed animals. It inspired her to begin designing and fabricating her own line of animal-related childrens products. She then recognized how these hand-crafted animals could provide a connection to real animals that are increasingly in threat of endangerment or extinction due to current environmental conditions. From that moment onwards, Stephanimals grew into a much more meaningful endeavour and became a genuine labour of love. Stephanimals provide joy, comfort and companionship to children, while educating them about animals and our environment.
